Did OJ Kill Nicole?

In reality, there was probably around a 95 percent chance that OJ killed Nicole. Much of the evidence leaned that way. Some of the keys to the case were cuts on his hand, and Nicole’s blood found at OJ’s home.

The fact that he went on a long chase toward Mexico with his buddy, Al, while holding a gun and threatening to kill himself, although damning is not evidence of a murder, whatsoever.

But why would OJ – not involved in a murder – be rolling down the freeway holding a gun to his head?

None of us will ever know. We weren’t there. Nor was there any video evidence or eyewitnesses.

I was born and raised in Los Angeles. It must be noted, the LAPD and LA County Sheriff’s Department are about the closest forces to the Gestapo as any in American history. Their violations are constant, ubiquitous, and violent.

There has been a long history of beatings (Rodney King was just a couple of years before); raping of intoxicated women, runaway teens, and prostitutes; drug busts where the money and drug count were significantly and inexplicably diminished. Not the odd exception, mind you. These are daily activities.

Then there was Mark “the N-Word” Furman.

OJ’s Dream Team of lawyers – from jury selection to closing arguments – outmatched the prosecution. When they got word of what Furman had done to and said about people of color, the case would be directed toward Furman, not OJ.

Did OJ murder Nicole? Probably. Did the city, the DAs, and the police murder the US Constitution, the laws, and the laws of righteousness and decency for decades, sending hundreds of innocent people to prison? No doubt.

Every once in a while, 12 men and women of good conscience will hone in on the Mark Furman part of the case – including his felonious perjurious testimony – and decide there may be a tiny chance this “N-hater” did something at OJ’s house to tamper with the evidence, giving way to “doubt,” if not “reasonable doubt.”

Had the animals that beat Rodney King to a bloody pulp for doing virtually nothing been convicted and imprisoned, the OJ Simpson jury may have come back with a conviction.

It is far more dangerous to society to have one Mark Furman anointed with the power of a badge and a gun than 100 OJ Simpsons.

Like a plane that is not flying straight, and level needs to be trimmed, we, the people, need to take command of a system that spirals as out of control as OJ Simpson may have been that night in Brentwood.

Thank God we live in a nation where the people can stand up and make a statement. Jury Nullification is a good thing, from time to time.
